This is my Dad Hartzel Powell. As a young man in the 7th grade he quit school to support his mother and siblings due to the tragic death of his step father. Imagine this as a youngster supporting his mother and family. He worked for Tubby Gregory in Alma, Illinois plowing for I believe .75 a day to help support his mother and her family. My father like all of you alls have left us so blessed!! Their legacy lives on through all your families!! He taught us to shoot and respect a gun. Be respectful and he wanted and worked hard so all his children were well educated! We are truly blessed! ========================== Hartzel L.
