  	Brooksy E. Stanford, 93, rural Clay City, died Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Clay County Hospital, Flora. Miss Stanford was born in Stanford Township, Clay County Nov. 10, 1884 to Austin W. and Harriet Blackburn Stanford. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Arvilla Stanford, rural Clay City; and several nieces and nephews. Services were at the Cardascio Funeral Home, Clay City, with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, rural Clay City. Bro. Sherrill Leckrone officiated. Taken from the Olney Daily Mail, June 12, 1978.
